Hi ADs,

Have your friends or family ever accused you of being somewhat self-involved or self-indulgent?

Ours have – and truth be told, they’re probably right.

Social media has definitely contributed to making us all a lot more conscious of how our lives look to others, and the rise in reality TV has no doubt exacerbated the idea that fame and notoriety should be our number one goal.

(P.S. A recent survey showed that, where kids used to believe kindness to be the most important quality in a person, they now believe it to be fame. Oh dear.)

Let’s face it, we live in a world that constantly bombards us with the notion that to be liked, followed and valued, we have to keep the focus solely on us.

The thing is, this self-obsession gets really, really boring for our nearest & dearest – especially when they’re going through a tough time and could use our undivided attention.

In this week’s Life Nugget, we share our top tip to get out of the ‘me, me, ME’ mentality – and we promise – it’ll make you INSTANTLY more popular.

Now, in the comments below, help us on our mission to be less narcissistic, and tell us what you’d like to see us Nugget on in the future.

Love,

Persia & Joey xx
