How to deal with people who trigger you (*click here to comment)
It’s a Tweeter!
“If you see the world through different eyes, make a conscious choice to step into their shoes.” @AddictiveDau #GetAddictedToTheGoodStuff
Recently, we had an almighty row.
We’ve had fights like this before, but this was a real humdinger.
You see, although we love each other very much, we’re just so very, very different.
One of us is an Extrovert, the other an Introvert.
One of us is an Over-sharer, the other an Under-sharer.
One of us is mainly feisty & passionate, the other kind & compassionate.
And whilst this makes us a great team when it comes to work, it also invites a lot of challenges when it comes to our friendship, mainly because we see the world – and each other – from totally different perspectives.
And this means that we emotionally trigger each other – a lot.
If you want to know what this fight was about – and how it taught us the most valuable tool we know for dealing with people who trigger you - DON’T MISS today’s Life Nugget.
This is a really important topic for all of us, so as ever, we’d love to hear from you in the comments below: Who most triggers you at the moment, and what action can you take to “step into their shoes”?
