We’re curious:

Do you ever find yourself feeling angry or resentful at a friend or loved one, and then launching into a full-blown argument with them in your head in which you imagine their responses?

We do – all the time!

The thing is, there’s a weird sadistic pleasure that comes from controlling another person’s words like this – probably because we get to feel morally superior and smug and “win” the fight every time.

But, let’s be honest, productive a pastime this ain’t.

In fact, if anything, it only serves to aggravate the problem by increasing your resentment ten-fold, causing you to bring all manner of negative vibes to your next real-life conversation with said person.

In today’s Life Nugget, we offer a simple tip to help you step away from this nasty habit so that you can free up your headspace for some much more fruitful & pleasant thoughts.

Although it can feel extremely satisfying to engage in these crazy internal duologues, it’s worth remembering that:
