If someone asked you what the most important things in your life were, would you be able to answer straight off the bat?
Whenever anyone’s asked us that question in the past, we would always respond quickly and without much thought: Family, friends, work (and boyfriend, if we had one).
However, if you tried to match that list of our ‘alleged’ life priorities to the reality of how we were actually spending our time and energy, it was a different story entirely.
The truth is, those things that we claimed were so important to us very rarely got to see the best of us (if anything, they were lucky to get the measly dregs…)
